Environment​

  • Xen Orchestra Appliance (XOA) with the backup remote mounted under /run/xo-server/mounts/.

Procedure​

In /run/xo-server/mounts/<the_mount_you_want_to_test>, run:

root@dom0
# head -c 1G </dev/urandom >myfile

Verification​

The time the command takes to write the 1 GiB file gives you the effective write speed of the remote.
