Applying Xen Orchestra licenses

A Xen Orchestra license unlocks the commercial features on a Xen Orchestra Appliance (XOA). It comes with your Vates VMS bundle, and each license is bound to a single appliance at a time.

Activate a license

1. Purchase a bundle with your Vates account, the same account your XOA is registered with.
2. Open the Licenses section of your appliance: every purchased license that is not yet bound is listed there.
3. Click the green Activate license button next to the license, and confirm.
4. Run an upgrade from the Updates view so the appliance downloads the packages matching your new license.

If someone else purchased for you, the license must first be bound to your technical-contact account: see the billing and technical contact roles in Account management.

Moving a license
