Vates VMS bundle overview
Vates VMS (Virtualization Management Stack) is sold as bundles that combine the whole stack (XCP-ng as the hypervisor, Xen Orchestra for management and backup) with professional support from the team that builds both. A single subscription covers XCP-ng support licenses for all your hosts plus one Xen Orchestra Appliance (XOA).
The four bundles
- Essential: for small infrastructures with standard needs: up to 3 hosts, a limited number of tickets per year, business-day support.
- Essential+: same 3-host maximum, but with unlimited tickets and complete feature access.
- Pro: for medium and large infrastructures (3 hosts minimum), priced per host, with unlimited tickets.
- Enterprise: for critical operations (4 hosts minimum), priced per host, with 24/7 support, setup/upgrade assistance and complete feature access.
Support is available as a 1, 3 or 5 year commitment, and longer commitments come with a discount. Current prices, response times and the detailed feature matrix are on the pricing and support page; severity classification and support terms are defined in the VMS user conditions.

Xen Orchestra was previously sold standalone, in per-appliance editions. Those offers are no longer available: new purchases are bundles only. The legacy Starter and Enterprise subscriptions end on July 31, 2026; only XO Premium and the free open-source edition continue. Contact sales to migrate to a bundle.
