Migration Package

Moving an entire infrastructure is a project, not a feature. The Vates Migration Package pairs you with migration specialists who will:

• Design a personalized migration plan
• Execute a guided proof-of-concept phase
• Provide hands-on support during the migration
• Follow up post-migration to optimize performance

The package applies to VMware projects (using the built-in V2V engine) as well as Hyper-V and mixed environments.

The tooling side

The migration tooling itself ships with Xen Orchestra and is free to use: warm V2V migration from VMware, OVA import, and disk-based paths. See Migrate or import your VMs in Getting started.
